However, if your ability is close to the passing standard, a longer exam will be administered to gather more information for an accurate pass/fail decision. To ensure content validity, the REx-PN CAT exam adheres to specified percentages for content distribution outlined in the REx-PN test plan. For more details about the REx-PN test plan, please visit the REx-PN website. The CAT algorithms manage the distribution of items by content area specification. This means that whether you take a minimum length exam or I take the maximum length exam, our exams will have the same content area distribution.

He decried the cultivation of tobacco saying, "It's a culture productive of infinite wretchedness." And later, he moved to his income-producing crops to wheat. The slender 6 foot 2.5 inches tall Jefferson was a zealot about exercise. ©2024 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. All rights reserved. 5 He said, "A strong body makes the mind strong." He recommended two hours of walking each day. I'm pretty sure that today since he was a lover of technology and of data collection, he'd be tracking his steps with an Apple watch. Jefferson understood that a person could improve their capacity to walk, and that walking was a key to health and longevity.

These are acceptable forms of evidence of PSOR because each requires the individual to sign a legal attestation indicating that the state is that nurse’s PSOR. 4. When does the 60-day period begin? The period begins when the nurse arrives in the new state with the intent of that state being the new PSOR. 5. How does the rule impact travel nurses and military spouses? Generally, travel nurses who visit another state are only doing so temporarily and are not making a permanent change of PSOR. Therefore, this rule does not pertain in this scenario. However, if a temporary position in another NLC state leads to a permanent role whereby the nurse decides to make a change of PSOR, then the rule would apply.

It is of vital importance that examination boards be selected from among nurses in practically the same manner that medical boards are chosen from physicians [and] pharmacists, dentists and teachers are examined, each by members of their own profession.5 The first issue of the AJN was published in October 1900, and the AJN was the official publication for many years of the two organizations named above. The pages of the AJN through the first 20 years are a valuable resource in the history of the early laws regulating nursing in the United States and of the boards that administered these laws.

As you look out to the seashore, or go into the historic parts of town, you can't help but recognize the beauty of this area. Personally, I'm looking for the fountain of youth. I understand it's somewhere around here, anything that I can maybe do to get rid of the circles and the bags around my eyes. I haven't found it yet, but if you happen to visit there before we leave, please let me know where it's at. As you look through the agenda, and you look towards the event on Friday, you might question, just a little bit, why the Kennedy Space Center? What is the connection between the Space Center and public policy?
