And we project that we will need to continue to use some of those reserved funds to support operations, resulting in a decline in the reserve balance. And you will see a slight decline in this graph. However, that's not cause for immediate concern. We will still have a very healthy investment balance, even with having to use some of our operating fund balance to provide support for our projects.

    We know they have a positive effect on new graduate confidence, competence and even improved retention. For these reasons, we have a 12-month transition to practice nurse residency program in our organization. We deliver it with a 4-hour monthly seminar over 12 months, and the nurses complete an evidence-based practice project over that time. Orientation to specialties like critical care and the emergency department are done concurrently with the 12-month transition to practice nurse residency program. And the departmental orientation with clinical immersion is also done concurrently and supervised by a qualified preceptor.
