NCSBN 2015 Annual Report
A completely redesigned www.ncsbn.org was launched. It features engaging graphics and enhanced navigation designed to improve the visitor experience. The redesign was undertaken after extensive research and analysis into what www.ncsbn.org visitors need and want from the website. Focused attention was given to keeping the best components of the previous version of the website that were invaluable to users, and determining which elements could be added to provide a more enriched platform. The relaunched site features improved accessibility for individuals with visual or hearing impairment, additional targeted services and resources on every page, and responsive design so that the website is effectively viewable on any device.

So if you sense this might be a phishing e-mail or something's not right, you can report it. If you successfully report the test, you get an award. You'll also get put up in the break room that, "Hey, that Federico identified a fake phishing e-mail and so he's actually paying attention to the awareness training." I'm surprised by it too but that's probably the number one thing that we see work from an employee awareness program perspective. Testing and doing it regularly, randomly, and just making it a part of the culture so people are more on the lookout.

So, here's some of the ways that trauma does interfere with cognition, which is thinking and all of the things that are listed here. It's not a complete list, but it was just an example of many of the things that you will likely see that become impaired, that you could misinterpret as something else. Oftentimes, people, particularly when they're having trouble with attention, concentration and memory and they're in an important meeting with you or a supervisor or someone who's trying to figure out what's going on with them, they can look like they're being purposefully uncooperative when actually their brain is just firing in a million or one different directions and they just can't focus on you.

There's two things to notice about this particular graph. The first is that those proportions in any given term, stack or additive. And so that's how we add up to the higher kind of summary academic year figure that corresponds to that vertical dotted line. The other thing that I would just draw your attention to because I think it kind of aligns with our own personal and professional experience in particular of kind of that initial heightened period of the pandemic. In that, you can see there was an initial spike in the employment of simulation, and then, that waned a bit even into the only the second academic year of the study.

We offer assisted living, sheltered care, and memory care and support. We also have general skilled nursing units for people with medical needs or delicate medical conditions that require hands-on nursing care on a daily basis. In our 130-bed rehab area, each floor has its own specialty. We have an orthopedic floor, medical floor, high acuity unit, and two small dementia/memory support rehab units.
