Sexual_Misconduct_Book_web.pdf
Reported incidence of sexual misconduct in health care is low, and is concentrated in general practice and psychological therapies. Patient vulnerability is associated with higher prevalence of sexual misconduct. For the purposes of this document, the term nurse refers to a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/VN), except in instances that indicate otherwise. INTRODUCTION 2 EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM In NCSBN’s analysis of 10 years of Nursys® data (NCSBN, 2009), 52,695 nurses were disciplined for 114,570 violations; of those violations, 659, or 0.57 percent, were included in the following categories: sexual misconduct—boundaries, other sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, sex with client or sexual language.

Spector-Silvestre-The-Effects-of-the-COVID-19-Pandemic-on-Nursing-Education-Programs.pdf
In a survey, the BONs reported several strate- gies that nursing education programs used during the pandemic to continue teaching students. Major alternative strategies for clinical experiences included increasing the percentage of simulation; following a 2:1 ratio of clinical hours to simula- tion; using virtual reality, virtual simulation, or augmented reality; and implementing unfolding case studies (NCSBN, 2021). Other strategies were reported as well (NCSBN, 2021) (Table A; available in the online version of this article).

You're the hardest, all those things. Those indicators of a good clinical instructor, right? Sharon is one of your students. If Sharon is with you for an eight-hour clinical day, let's even make Sharon a high...she's about to graduate.
