Sexual_Misconduct_Book_web.pdf
Reported incidence of sexual misconduct in health care is low, and is concentrated in general practice and psychological therapies. Patient vulnerability is associated with higher prevalence of sexual misconduct. For the purposes of this document, the term nurse refers to a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/VN), except in instances that indicate otherwise. INTRODUCTION 2 EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM In NCSBN’s analysis of 10 years of Nursys® data (NCSBN, 2009), 52,695 nurses were disciplined for 114,570 violations; of those violations, 659, or 0.57 percent, were included in the following categories: sexual misconduct—boundaries, other sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, sex with client or sexual language.

We may have some candidates who are not qualified but become licensed, right? And I know that, we do not want to be taken care by the students like that, right? So, we do not want that standard too low, which I know for some educators, they hope the standard can be lower so that all of the students can pass the exam. It's a good wish, but we know on other side, it's the public safety issue. So, we cannot make the people who are not competent to be licensed. But what about we set the standard too high? What will happen if it's too high? High is good, right? We kind of cut very high abilities students, very old superstars will become nurse.

And so, I mean, this idea of holding these people in bondage and having this image of himself as a progressive, as someone who wanted this world to end, albeit with black people having their own country some other place, he had to find some way to see himself as a good guy. It was like all of them. He thought he was a good guy. And that's maybe hard for us to imagine in this particular world, but that's how he constructed himself. - Well, guys today just don't think they're good. It's just totally different now. - No. - Let's start with what made Jefferson famous.

Well, with BI, it doesn't quite work with that. We need to have a good requirement, a good reason. Now, what I recommend to companies is you use what's called the constraint theory, the theory of constraint. And to put this in simple terms, if you had a clog in your sink, and you're pouring water down and it maybe just wasn't going down at all, or wasn't going down as fast as it used to.

And again, these articles are online and we can talk about them. We developed these 24 principles. And so we said... so the question was, can we do something like this for diagnosis? And even the patients picked up on this, you know, no matter what your politics or conservative approach to medication is a good idea. So here's what we tried to do with diagnosis. Bad nurses. Bad. All right, so if that's what makes a good nurse, how do I compare you to what makes a good cosmetologist? - Education and training. - Education and training.
