    As a psychometrician, I like true value, like one plus one must be two. Unfortunately, in standard setting there's no true value. Think about that. What is the true difference between 0 or 0.0001 logits? Not a real difference. Even though we do standard setting in a very special rigorous way, there is no true value. Passing standard is related to mission of the organization and exam. For NCLEX, the mission is public safety. When we set a standard, we need to keep the mission in our mind. Standards should be revisited when test specifications, scope of practice, education programs and no other factors change.
