The importance of performing each nursing activity for the continued competence of LPN/VN practice was recorded using a 4-point scale: “1 Not Important” to “4 Extremely Important.” Average total group importance ratings ranged from 2.41 “Not important” to 3.90 “Extremely Important”. When the importance ratings were examined according to practice setting, years of experience, geographic location and specialty area, most of the activities were rated as “3” or greater indicating the activity was “Important” or “Extremely Important.”

And this also holds true with everything going on in the world with the pandemic to get more of our global citizens out there into practice. So with evidence advancing global citizenship through nursing education which helps emerge evidence indicating innovative and nontraditional methods such as an immersive global service learning experiences. And when we think about global citizens, particularly within nursing programs, this does help make students very culturally aware, there's a civic engagement, self-efficacy also arises from this, international nursing perspective.

Later, like many of you, I've felt a desire to share the knowledge and experience gained and support and encourage new members who have so much to contribute. Why did I stay for 35 years? How can a person sustain herself in a position for that long? These are legitimate questions. I can't say that I've pondered them very long. Actually, the time flew by when a job needs to be done. It's challenging, it's fun, and there's a sense of accomplishment. It's not extraordinary at all. Honestly, there have been ups and downs. I can still make myself sick when I dwell on the screw-ups that I've made over the years.

This report is provided to help candidates prepare for their next examination. There must be at least 60 test free days between each examination. This period of time is determined by each individual NRB and NCSBN. Contact your NRB to obtain the necessary forms and information to reregister at any time. However, once declared eligible by your NRB, your new Authorization to Test (ATT) will not be valid until the required number of days between examinations elapses.
