My only knowledge of a regulatory body’s role was a newscast I saw about a medical doctor in Washington who was investigated by the state medical board.   I was inspired to join the board of nursing through my affiliation with Go Lead Idaho, whose mission is to engage women in leadership and civic participation through active involvement in the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
