    The large mixed-methods study that began in 2017 collected nationwide quantitative (five years of annual reports) and qualitative (five years of site visit documents) data from nursing regulatory bodies (NRBs) and sur- veyed education consultants, nursing faculty and practicing nurses using a Delphi method for analysis. Additionally, an integrative literature review was completed. A panel of experts, including representatives from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the National League for Nursing and the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, convened to establish evidence-based regulatory guidelines and quality indicators for nursing education programs.
