There is partial credit scoring for items for which more than one key exists. There will be three methods for scoring items for partial credit: plus/minus, zero/one and rationale scoring. The detailed information can be found at https://www.ncsbn.org/publications/NGN-News-Summer-2021. The NCLEX is designed to test knowledge, skills and abilities essential to the safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry level. Both the NCLEX-RN® and the NCLEX-PN®* are a variable-length, computerized, adaptive tests. The NCLEX is not offered in paper- and-pencil or oral examination formats.
