The NEC is our NCLEX Examination Committee, which is comprised of nursing regulators from multiple jurisdictions. The NEC helps to provide item disposition and also reviews and approves NCLEX items before they can become operational or scored on the exam. Additionally, the NEC establishes and maintains NCLEX policies for the exam to remain current, entry-level, comprehensive of nursing practice, and safe for the public. For additional information on item writing and item review, please visit our NCLEX webinar series available on the website. If you or your colleagues are interested in becoming a volunteer for our item development opportunities, you can also visit our website to sign up.

The good news is I am less sleepy on my medication.” 10 2. WHAT ARE OPIOID TOLERANCE AND WITHDRAWAL? Withdrawal is a series of symptoms experienced by people who have been taking opioids in a sufficient dose and duration (usually about 60 mg of morphine or equivalent for a week) and then quickly cut back or stop.
