So, okay, you ordered 1400 tabs of this and you're telling me you didn't dispense any of them because of X, Y, and Z, and I know you ate them, but where's the destruction record, right? You are required to have an appropriate means of, you know, destroying those drugs per the federal government, I want the form, right, what's going on with that. Don't forget about like a floor plan, right?

You could certainly call the course provider or check their website. We have a referrals tab right on our homepage. Other course providers likely do too. Any course provider should be happy to discuss particular cases with you. They would be anonymized, but you can say, I have a licensee who's done X, Y, Z. Help me figure out what the right course would be to send them to. So for example, sometimes it's not clear whether a nurse needs a course in boundaries, or ethics, or communication. So talking through the situation with the course provider can help you make sure your licensees are getting the appropriate education targeted to their infraction.

A 2010 survey of BONs conducted by NCSBN indicated an overwhelming majority of responding BONs (33 of the 46 respondents) reported receiving complaints of nurses who have violated patient privacy by posting photos or information about patients on social networking sites. The majority (26 of the 33) of BONs reported taking disciplinary actions based on these complaints. Actions taken by the BONs included censure of the nurse, issuing a letter of concern, placing conditions on the nurse’s license or suspension of the nurse’s license.

And in some of the multivariable modeling, we also attempted to control for that, and it did not change the nature of our findings. - Okay, thank you. I did a little poll, Brendan, you probably didn't even see this because you're not on Excel events right now. But we popped up a question, do you have someone who monitors all the investigators' caseloads. And just about 26 people answered that, but 96% said, yes, they do have someone who monitors the caseloads. So, that was good to hear. And we certainly could, you know, wish we could have all the positions that all the boards need. We understand state budgets limit some of that.

And so, we would argue, as NCSBN, that there's a real demand for our practice partners to work with these new nurse graduates and to kind of respond to their needs to facilitate their transition to early career practice and develop kind of a salience in this new and kind of transformed healthcare landscape. Further, we would also argue, and I think the literature is pretty well documented on this, there needs to be efforts to adjust [inaudible 00:26:24.571] in nursing education, in part ...

The group addressed the meaning and implications of innovation in nursing education and discussed all perceived barriers to educational innovations, not only those related to regulation, but also the barriers set up by education systems, practice environments and the students themselves. A vision for the future was presented, which focused on improved communica tion and forming partnerships between education, regulation and practice.
